According to the city officials and reporters, this is the single largest ever gift provided by any of the organization as a park donation and for its outer section proper designing so it can take an enormous look in New York City. Earlier also the donations were made for the High Line development of worth $15 million by the Chairman of IAC Barry Diller and his wife Diane von Furstenberg. Bloomberg also said to the reporters that the duo assists earlier was not a surprising fact and even better they are in fact looking for it and its development which is quite appreciable. Their curiosity for this grand development in the New York City can really produce a City Icon which people will surely enjoy in the upcoming future for sure, he added.
Actually, this High Line by the Alex Von Furstenberg foundation is an unusual combination of public and private partnership. The City paid largest amounts so far for the constructions of the two important section of the High Line, which are running together from Gansevoort to the 30th Streets, it is absolutely fantastic. The annual operating cost for the High Line is estimated approx $3 million which mainly includes visitors welcome cost, wear & tear, education programs cost etc. This is really a big challenge for the 60 staff member committee of this Alex Von Furstenberg foundation park.
